Spiritual Awakening and Attachments

We are going through a time of very big vibrational shift.  The last time we had a shift of these proportions was back in the time Christ.  So we've at the same frequency for, roughly, around 2000 years.  It can be called a number of things, a shift in vibration, a shift in consciousness, an awakening.  No matter what you all it, there's no question it's a change in the way we see things, hear things, and feel them.

I would describe it as a total change in the way we do things. Also, notably, the way it is manifesting in people's lives.  Let's start with the way it is playing out publicly.  First thing would be how things are being amplified. Think about when music plays on a radio and we turn the volume up so that it's louder. Well, the things we are seeing in public eye, media and other methods of deliver are being "amplified", turned up, if you will.  There's a polarization of issues.  Years ago we would have a mass shooting, maybe once a year.  Now, we are having one it would seem at least every few months, and sometimes every couple of weeks.

What about issues of politics?  Don't they seem to be getting louder and larger to you. The issues that divide us seem to be shoved in our faces more and more, where it's a constant barrage. It matters not what the issues are, political views, race, sexuality, religion, they are all being polarized to shove our differences down our throats.  These are nothing more than distractions.  If we are in fear we can't possibly focus on our own personal spiritual awakening.  Make now mistake about it, awakening spiritually is a big thing, and it will change the way the entire Globe of Earth functions.

One of the first things that was a part of this was the entire mortgage meltdown. People losing their homes, and more often than not, wrongfully. I mean most people were put in loans that they should never have been put in.  What was the driving force for that?  Greed, pure and simple.  And when it was discovered that the bankers were the ones who caused the entire meltdown, was there anything done to fix it?  Only for show.  This meltdown was caused intentionally.  If people are concerned about losing their homes, again, they won't be focused on a spiritual awakening.

These things are about keeping the populace DISTRACTED, frustrated, and busy.  Then we have things like Ebola, mass shootings, race issues.  What things are being used to distract us, technology, reality TV, health scares, polarized issues of hatred, terrorist attacks. I'm not saying that these are not concerns, but when they are manipulated, contrived and caused, they are just being used to keep us busy with distractions.

When it's not enough to keep people distracted with losing their material possession, which we as humans have a big habit of becoming attached to, then we move onto the attachments to Beliefs.  And I don't know whether you realize it or not, but getting people to let go of the attachment to certain beliefs is an incredible feat in and of itself.  People are more attached to their beliefs than they ever could be any material possession.

Why is this an important aspect of the Awakening?  We are in a time when our beliefs about what is, what was, and what shall be is being turned upside down, inside out, and backwards.  I believe you could easier pry a baby from the jaws of a lion than you could certain beliefs that people who hold.  We are afraid of letting lose of certain beliefs.

What if the beliefs we hold and the thought we have are what manifest our reality? How about what we focus on is a magnet for what we draw into ourselves? If everyone comes to this belief then no political or religious organization could have a hold on any person who knows this.  That's a scary thought to some people who are power hungry.  Power isn't always about money, though it is a lot of time, it's about CONTROL.  When you control what people think they can and cannot have, and how they get it, then you control the people, and therefore control the money.  It's the natural order of things.  Think of it like this, we no longer need anyone else to solve our issues, because we can solve them or create them ourselves.  You've heard of the Law of Attraction, and The Secret.  Why do you think it was such a Secret?  Because those in power, be it political or religious, or any other kind of power for that matter, does not want anyone to know this Secret.  But people have slowly been awakening to it.  And now it's being shoved in our faces full force.

People are having vivid dreams, feeling anxious, not being able to sleep.  If the dreams are negative, they are about brining up old issues to be healed.  Things we need to let go of, so we can progress in soul growth and awakening.  It's time for us to let go of attachments, not just attachment to material, but to old beliefs.  I'm not saying we can't or are not to have material possessions, but don't let the possessions possess you.  Don't be attached to it, that it blinds you from what's really important.  This holds true for our beliefs as well.  Allow them to evolve, allow your truth to grow and expand.  And when you decide to do that, you will let go of the anxiety, the anger, and the hatred.

Answers About The Afterlife: Questions About the Spirit World; Discussion Four

In this entry we are moving to the spirit world itself.  The first question is, "What's the difference between the afterlife, heaven, the here after, the spirit world, and the other side?"  As Bob addresses in this chapter these are terms that some might say mean the same thing, synonyms, if you will. Now, my perception of this might seem a little bit different.  The way I have had it shown to me, is imagine that heaven is like a high rise, there's entry level, and then you have midlevel, and you can progress up to the penthouse.  How does one progress?  Through soul evolution.  As we incarnate on earth we learn lessons, the way we handle things evolves, hence our soul evolves.  With this evolution comes the ability to go further up in the high rise of heaven.  Always keep in mind those on the upper floors can come down and visit, but those on the lower floors can not visit the higher floors until they evolve to the level.

Why has no on proven that the afterlife exists? Proving the afterlife is tied to belief systems.  It might be difficult to "prove", but people can come to a belief and understanding based on their own experiences.  There's this saying for some there's no proof that would be enough, and for some there's  no proof that's needed.  In other words, if you are dealing someone who cynical, no matter what happens they are not going to believe it.  And for people who have a belief system that it exists, you don't need to prove it to them.

What's it like in the spirit world?  Here is another area where your beliefs play into your experience.  When a person first dies or passes from the earthly plane into the spirit plane, what they hold as hard line beliefs will effect what they encounter when they first arrive.  Some people believe in a transition, some believe in purgatory, some believe we retrain looks of our body as we do on the physical plane.  For those who have strong beliefs in these types of things, it take a period of adjustment, but they will experience exactly what they expect.  Keep in mind there are always loved ones and guides to help with those adjustment times.

What do we do in the spirit world? There is no one answer that fits for everyone.  Some souls continue their work on soul evolution in the spirit plane before choosing to reincarnate on the earthly plane. At times souls can even study in the spirit world before they decide to come back to earth, that is if they decide to come back, it is a choice.  Coming to earth to learn life lessons is a choice and it's like taking advanced classes in school, because the work here is harder than in the spirit world, but most believe it is worth it.

If there is an afterlife, does that mean there is a hell as well?  I agree with Bob's writing here, in that there is not one in the literal sense of a fire pit.  Again, keep in mind that if your belief system carries that there is one, and you believe you are going there, you will experience for a short period of time until you adjust to the spirit world and get reacquainted and remember that that is a concept used on earth.  On earth our beliefs carry into the spirit world, and not all of them are exact in the way we have come to believe in them on earth.

Are we judged or punished for our wrongdoings when we arrive in the afterlife?  We do have a life review, to see how we have made certain choices.  Experiencing the other people's feelings and the ways in which our choices have effected others, but as for punishment, we punish ourselves.  We are given a chance to make different choices, and improve what can be improved upon.

How do our religious beliefs and practices affect us in the afterlife?  They affect us greatly upon first arrival, but then we adjust and are given an opportunity for our truth to expand.  We realize the difference between religion and spirituality, which by the way go hand-in-hand.  Instead of being so grounded in dogma, we need to be open to the truth expanding like a flower does when it's growing.

Which religion is closest to the truth?  They all have a foundation in truth, and all are necessary so we can have certain experiences.  Closest to the truth is relative to what you come to earth to experience.  We are all worshipping the same God, it's just that we call him different things.

Can our loved ones hear us in the spirit world?  They most definitely can, and they can see us as well.  With the single thought they know you are thinking of them.  Also they come to visit us, and try to let us know they are around, sometimes through smell, or touch, or manipulating energy.  Always pay attention to the signs and our loved ones will let us know they are there.  Also, you can have contact with them through psychic medium reading.  A psychic medium can hear, see, and feel the loved ones in the spirit realm.  Having a reading with medium can bring peace and healing to those left here on the earthly plane, while the loved ones are in the spirit world.

I hope this entry finds you well and helps you in some way.  Until next time, Love and Light to you, and pay attention to the signs around you.  If you'd like to set up an appointment for a reading please send an email, pam@heavencallingearth.com, or call 914 620 5776.

Answers About the Afterlife: Discussion Three, Questions About Death and Dying

We know that the way we think of dying isn't really dying at all, it's simply moving to another dimension, if you will.  The spirit plane, or the heavenly realm are two names I personally like to use.  Here on earth we consider it dying because we no longer have a body and are no longer able to see with our "eyes" the person who has "died".

Our soul never dies. We are not humans with a soul, we are souls who are experiencing being human.  There's a big difference.  Our consciousness is the spirit, or is the soul, and it goes on for ETERNITY. So, what is it that determines when  and how we "die"?  There are so many elements that go into this.  Before we are born, the way I like to explain it, (as it has been shown to me over and over again), we sit down with a "guidance counselor", an elder,  our team of spirit guides, and we decide what are going to experience in this lifetime.  What are the life lessons we wish to learn? When we decide the lessons, we also make agreements with other souls to experience certain lessons with them.  This is  why we come in contact with some people and we feel a certain magnetism, or draw to that person.  It's because recognize the soul, even if we don't actually recognize the person.  It's that feeling of, I've known you forever.  In reality, you have known them forever. We travel in soul groups and we change up the relationships we have the souls, depending on the lessons and the agreements we make prior to incarnating in any given lifetime.  As hard as it may be to imagine, we make choices to experience certain illnesses, or to have certain trauma come into our lives, so we have the experience of it, and see how we handle it.  It's all about choices that we make and how we handle those things that show up.

Don't get weighted down with the idea that only thing we are here to do is learn lessons.  We also incarnate to enjoy life itself.  As you know though, deciding to enjoy it is a personal choice.  I know you've probably run across a person or two in your life who is perfectly happy being miserable.  They wouldn't know how to behave if they didn't have something to complain about.  That aside, we can as souls decide that we are going to be happy and really enjoy what we have been gifted with.

There are souls who are here for the primary purpose of helping other in reaching their goals and life lessons.  This is a reason why soul stays is to help another. Another factor in death and dying is opportunity. There are situations where a death can occur, but a spirit guide steps in and stops it because the souls has other things to accomplish while they are here. I can personally attest to this, because I've had a number of time when I've walked away from a situation that was surprising.  I will share one with you now just so you can get a feel for what I'm talking about. Back in 1993 I was in an automobile accident.  I was making a left turn out of a shopping center on a very busy local road.  After I looked both ways, I proceeded to make the turn, and a BIG concrete truck that I didn't see came flying over the hill.  He hit my car in the front (driver's side) quarter panel.  The car was brand new. We get the car off the road into the shopping center. A state trooper shows up to investigate the accident.  At the moment I wasn't feeling any pain, was just sort of stunned.  Well, the driver of the concrete truck was pacing back and forth, and very nervous and upset.  He knew how bad the accident could have been.  The driver's door, mine, was missed with less than twelve inches to spare.  Had he hit the door, I would not be here telling you this story.  Well, I could hear as the trooper was questioning him.  He kept saying, "Something turned the wheel of the truck.  Really, something turned the wheel of the truck. I don't know what or who it was."  He was probably coming too fast over the hill, but I was charged because he clearly had the right of way.  But that didn't happen until after the trooper finished giving him field sobriety tests to be sure he wasn't under the influence.  The poor guy was so shaken, I really felt bad for him.  Had the car not been brand new it would have been considered totaled by the insurance company.  There was 12,000 worth of damage to the car, and yes, my insurance company cancelled my insurance after the accident. Having experienced a few times in my life where there was Divine intervention, I wasn't as shocked or as confused as the truck driver.  I knew by this point, I am well protected.  There was a knowing that God has some things planned for me that required me staying on earth for a while.  Don't get me wrong, I don't go out here and intentionally put myself in harms way, but this is not by far the only thing I've ever been through that I might not have walked away from without those special protections.

Another thing that plays into our death and the timing of is is our own free will.  There have many people where the doctors say, oh, he has three months, she has two weeks; only to be proven wrong by the person who is just not ready yet. In the most dire of situations one can have a strong will to live and it override what is a possible out for them.

People often ask about karma, or the reap what you sow factor.  There is some of that involved in our lives and we can't minimize it's effects on our lives. We should all try to live by the rule, do unto others as we would have them do unto us.  I've also been asked a number of time if a loved one felt pain during their death.  This is a troubling prospect for many. I've been told and shown that when death is imminent, that the spirit guide or loved one there to meet the person, brings them out before the pain can be felt. I've also been told they don't feel fear or anxiety with it.  Sometimes people who have had a near death experience will feel pain when they return to the body, but not during the "death" portion of it. I hope that makes sense to you.

There are others who wish to know if death is dark and scary. Our beliefs can play a part in what we see when we first arrive on the spirit plane.  This is why we have soul family that meets us, to help us transition to Light.  Once a person transitions they no longer feel the pain of any illness or trauma that they have experienced.  They can, however, feel our sadness and grief.  Our loved ones can visit us in dreams, and they can make their presence known to us during our waking hours.  One thing I have seen over and over again that blocks this is the pain of the person grieving.  We never stop missing our loved ones, but we can allow our pain wall to recede so they can make the connection with us.  Grieving is a process, and it is a very individual thing.  I've dealt with people who missed a loved one after they were gone, but they knew that the soul was a very good place so they didn't have a pain wall at all.  And I've seen the other end of the spectrum, where someone had died ten years before and it was as though it had just happened and the person's pain wall was so high that I could physically feel it.

I'd like to close this particular discussion with the fact that we are able to communicate with our loved one in spirit.  You can do so through a gifted psychic medium by having  a reading.  But also to let you know that you can communicate directly with your loved ones.  They can hear you when you speak aloud to them, as well as when you think of them. If you get a sign from a loved one, acknowledge it.  We have a tendency to logically explain away the signs they bring us.  If something happens, a song comes on the radio, you smell a certain scent, you see something that was special to a loved one and the first thought that pops into your head is of a specific loved one, just acknowledge that it is from them. When you do this, you will start to see more signs and feel their presence even more.  Remember, we don't die, we just move to a new location.

Answers About The Afterlife: Discussion Two, The Big Picture

We start this section with some answers about The Big Picture.  What is our purpose in living a life on the human plane/ earth? Before we can get to the afterlife we have to discuss life itself. No matter who you are, you've made decision and choice to come to earth to have a human experience.  The purpose for that is learn "life lessons". So, with that being the case that means we actually have "life" before we have a "life on earth". We are eternal beings. Bob covers this subject quite well in Part One of the book.

Since we are eternal beings our consciousness is already alive, if you will, in the spirit realm. Our souls are eternal. Coming to earth to have a human experience and learn life lessons is part of the eternalness. The way that it has been shown to me through meditations and experiences in psychic readings and medium readings is that in a manner we all have a team that works with us, our sprit guides. Before we incarnate on earth, we have a meeting with our "team" and decide what life lessons we are going to attempt to learn in the upcoming lifetime. We also decide who we are going to work on those lessons with, our soul group. Souls in each group have agreements that they will experience certain things together in hopes of evolving from those lessons.

If you think of those lessons like classes you take when you go school, you may not get an A in the class, but that doesn't mean you didn't attend. Each of us learns in our own unique way because we are different. Even if there appear to be things that are negative experiences, that doesn't mean that we are not getting anything out of it. And while we plan the lessons, it doesn't mean we will arrive at the desired goal in the end. One of the reasons for that is because first, once we arrive on earth, we begin to promptly forget what we planned before arrival. As our souls evolve, we start remembering that purpose for our trip to earth. Once that is remembered we start looking at our experiences in a whole new light. I can only speak from my own personal experience, it makes it a little bit easier to navigate the lessons. Sometimes having these kinds of lessons coming up before you remember that's why you're here, makes it easier to not make good choices.  And I say not good choices, because just because they are not the exact right choices, doesn't necessarily mean they are totally bad either. As long as we learn something from the choices, then they are serving a purpose. Let me give you something of an example; let's say you are a young child and you see a glass in front of the fireplace, and it's pretty and fascinating so you go over and touch it; while that's not necessarily a good choice, you do learn very quickly that it's not a good choice to touch the glass in front of the fireplace because it's hot and you can get burned.  I realize this is an over simplification but one that I feel will help to make the point.  And don't we wish that all our choices were as simple as not touching the glass in front of the fireplace.

Next is the discussion about the soul and the spirit. I love Bob's description of the differences.  One I have often used is the Holy Trinity, God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. While I know that not everyone is of Christian faith, most do understand the reference.  I use this reference to explain that the Father portion of our soul remains in the spirit realm or Heaven, at all times, while the Son portion, is the part of us that incarnates onto the earth for human experiences, and the Holy Sprit is the part that brings this all together, the intuitive side that helps our higher self, the portion that remains in spirit to communicate with human incarnated part.  This is the reason that we don't ever have to be concerned that if a loved one passes and decides to incarnate again before we get back to spirit that we will miss each other in passing.  The higher self part is always there and always recognizable to the other souls in our group.

Defining God, now that's a tall order. We do have a tendency to want to define him in terms of being human, you know, two arms, two legs, physical body kind of thing.  And let's not forget we also like to attach human emotions to God, anger, vengefulness, love, we like to think that God has the same emotions that we do. God is the Source of all that is, was and ever shall be. Through the years the manner in which it has been shown to me is that when God said he made man in his image, what he was doing was giving us the power of creation of our own realities. Now, that's a mouthful and what some might say is something of arrogant statement. One reason we like to reject this concept is because if that's the case then we must take responsibility for the things that come into our lives, no matter what they are, good, bad, indifferent. When if we keep God as human like Power, we can lay all the responsibility for what is right and wrong in our lives at his feet. We can blame God or thank him without regard to what is in our lives is something that we have attracted by our own manifestation.  It's so much easier to do it that way. But what I've found through the years is when we recognize that God has given us this gift of manifestation and taking responsibility for what is showing up, that is when we start to consciously attract the things we desire, instead of waiting for some outside force to bring us what we want.

Finally, the best way to understand the afterlife.  Really, the afterlife is the before life, in other words, we are eternal.  Before we have an life on earth we are in the spirit plane. So it's life before life, life after life after life. It's tough to put it into a human concept. We are eternal beings living forever in one plane or dimension or another, it's just while we are on this plane or in this dimension we don't remember the others. With the vibrational shift that is currently going on, that is changing. We are starting to remember things that we've had locked away inside of us while we were are here.

Let's take a few days to discuss the Big Picture and then read Part Two, Questions About Death and Dying. In the meantime if you'd like to schedule a psychic reading or a medium reading, send us an email or call.

Psychic Readers: Answers About The Afterlife: Discussion One

Psychic Readers: Answers About The Afterlife: Discussion One: After a great deal of thought on how to handle our discussion about Bob Olson's book, Answers About the Afterlife, I thought it best to ...

Answers About The Afterlife: Discussion One

After a great deal of thought on how to handle our discussion about Bob Olson's book, Answers About the Afterlife, I thought it best to do it through a blog and a link to Facebook for the Heaven Calling Earth fan page.  We are going to test this out and see if it works in the way we want it to.

Introduction, Also titled The Foundation of This Book.  Everything we do in life has to have a foundation.  The foundation is the groundwork for how we are going to view anything in life.  It's not only just what we experience in the moment that determines our view or outlook, it's the sum total of our those experiences that bring us to the conclusions we draw.  So with that said, let's discuss Bob's foundation for the book.

Bob Olson was a private investigator before he became an Afterlife Investigator.  Well, I would say that gives him some qualifications for investigating. And as he mentions in his first paragraph, "none of us have all the answers".  The fact that we have some of the answers is a blessing in and of itself.  Then we have the statement that what we have is "true, but not accurate."  I've never heard it put quite that way, but it makes sense. The way I've often explained this is that our truth starts as a small seed, which turns into a stem, which can turn into a bloom, which then grows and expands.  Our truth, or the truth about the afterlife can only be understood based on what we have as that foundation, which is oftentimes our own experiences.  Some are willing to accept other people's experiences as part of their own truth.  And there are some individuals who will not even accept their own firsthand encounters as true.  They are not healthy skeptics, they are cynics.  "True, but not accurate" is based on our own human understanding, which can differ very much from what goes on in the spirit realm.  Physical versus spiritual realm can be the same but very different at the same time.

We are going through vibrational shift right now and the veil between us and the spirit realm is getting thinner and thinner. You might say we are bumping up against each other, like a parallel dimension. As the veil thins more and more people are seeing these parallel dimensions.  There are lower level dimensions and higher ones than we are.  The lower ones have a lower "frequency" if you will and the higher ones, of course, are a higher "frequency". Lower ones are fueled and ruled by lower energies, anger, hatred, violence, addictions, fear.  The higher dimensions are the exact opposite, they have love, compassion, empathy and the like.  Our dimension houses both, so to speak.  We are in a time when we can choose to go to the higher level, stay where we are, or down. It's a personal choice.

As an investigator Bob decided he wanted to find out all he could about the afterlife and those who claimed to be able to communicate with people that were in the afterlife.  He has vetted, tested and tried psychics, psychic mediums, animal communicators, channelers, and every possibly type of reader that there is.  After doing so, I would say that as in court, with this much experience, he would be considered and qualified as an expert on the subject matter.

There are so many aspects of the afterlife that he became familiar with.  Here we just thought, okay, you die and you go to heaven or hell.  Well, it's just not that simple.  He has quite aptly laid twenty-two different ways and things to be understood about the spirit realm. I've personally had experience with a number of theses things and I look forward to discuss them with you throughout the journey through this book.

If you have questions or thoughts about this section of the book, please post here, or on the Facebook page.

Suicide, Right or Wrong, Heaven or Hell.

As a psychic medium I've "spoken" with souls who have crossed from all kinds of earthly deaths. I'm not sure at this point if we missed any.  I've communicated with those that have crossed from accidents, automobile, planes, getting shot, overdosing from drugs and alcohol, as well as those who have had terminal illnesses, and then those that just passed from natural causes.  No matter the way the death occurs it's always difficult for those left behind. They are always left with a large whole in their life where the person who passed was.

Today, I'm going to talk about suicide. It's a difficult topic, and in my opinion it's one of the hardest on those left behind. Not only do they deal with the loss, but there are times when there is a lot of guilt associated with the survivors of suicide.  There are those who believe that suicide is a coward's way out.  I don't follow that thinking, as I know from speaking with many who have committed suicide at the time of the incident that is not what's going on.  Then we have those that want to know if it's right or it's wrong, or do you go to heaven or hell when you commit suicide.  What I'm going to share with you here today is the view and opinion I've come to have from years of connecting with those that have taken their lives, or been a part of it, either intentionally or by accident.  I've had souls come through to me that have died of an overdose and there were questions as to whether or not the person did it intentionally. Actually, I've communicated with both, those who have done it intentionally, and those that it was a complete accident.  Either way there are still life lessons that weren't completed or learned. As we know, people that become addicted to substances are looking for that escape from what it is a difficult situation for them, or the euphoric feeling they get when on the substances.  Unlike the addict, a person who decides to commit suicide, feels completely trapped, alone (even if they are in a room full of people), and they feel there is no way out of the "hell" they are experiencing.  Honestly, they are not usually thinking through the effect it will have on their loved ones, or even themselves.  Of course, some are angry with someone and think that by taking their own life they will punish the person they are angry with. Again, this is a situation where the mind is so muddled that they can't think through what the end result will be.

It's my belief that people who have a terminal illness and decide to take their own lives are in a whole different category altogether. That thinking goes along with, I want to be in control, and do it the way that I can leave on my own terms. To date, I have not yet communicated with someone who took this way out, so I cannot give any information on this one way or the other.  However, I will not say that it's  wrong or right, and definitely not cowardly thinking.

I would like to say that those who have lost a loved one and consider suicide so they can join their loved one sooner rather than later, this is not the answer and  you will not get the result you are trying to achieve by taking your own life.  I've been shown this to be the case because souls who commit suicide have special work to do.  When a soul cuts their human life short, the lessons they have come to learn have not been completed.

What happens when a person commits suicide?  There is what I will call a welcoming soul, the soul or souls that meet the person transitioning to the spirit realm.  The person who has committed suicide is met by a soul or souls to help them come over.  These souls are others who have committed suicide.  It is part of the work they must do before they come back and complete their contract.  The "welcoming soul/souls" help the person come over and give them a tour so to speak.  Let them rest and get used to their new environment.  They go through reviews to show them how they could have done things differently, and how there were options that could have resolved the dilemma and the pain they were in.    The person sees how his actions have impacted those left behind, their pain, the upset, the void he has left.

Once acclimated and the soul has had time to rest and understand fully what his/her actions have caused then they go to work.  There are two jobs in particular that I've been shown over and over again that they do, which helps them in their return to complete what they came for to begin with.  The first is acting as part of the "welcoming team", and the second is to work as a spirit guide for people considering suicide.  Now, as you can imagine this is a very difficult job.  Trying to get through to a person who is contemplating suicide is very difficult.  Why is it difficult?  The biggest and primary reason is because the person who is considering suicide has a pain wall that is very difficult to penetrate.  The spirit guide will try to get through directly to the person, and even try to go through others around the person, friends, family, anyone who the spirit guide thinks they can make the connection with.  There are occasions when it works, and the person doesn't go through with it.  Then, of course, there are times when there is no getting through to the person and they go through with it.

Souls that have a hand in their lives ending early, such as accidental overdose and things of this nature fall into the same category, and will have a little extra work so that they understand addictions, and can come back and try to do it without falling into that trap again.

The opinions are ones that I have formed through years of communicating with those who have crossed over and being shown over and over again how they transition and what they go through.  Please, remember the hell they go through is before they commit suicide, but it does put other things in play that they need to resolve.  A good book to read is Conversations With The Spirit World by Lysa Mateu.
